Based in San Diego, California, the Pomerado Brass Quintet was formed in the summer of 2005 as a spin-off from the Pomerado Community Band.  The Pomerado Brass Quintet performs a wide variety of music from classical, marches, jazz, ragtime, dixieland, and selections from Broadway musicals.  The quintet specializes in wedding ceremonies, receptions, holiday specials, ribbon cuttings, corporate events, and concerts. The quintet has performed annually in the San Diego Natural History Museum during "December Nights" since 2005 and has performed at Poway's "Christmas in the Park" under the gazebo at Old Poway Park.  In addition, the quintet has performed at the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center as part of their concert series, and at the La Jolla Festival of the Arts.
